would agree , the hock? is also a valid point, he may have been better than some , but has not been has good as many thought he would be this season , not in my top worst players but maybe top of my expected more list .
He has been better than TL who quite frankly does not look the part. I wonder how many who wanted Orr out because he was not of Wigan standard think TL is proving to be so?

As to the best Feka can't be in the top three as he isn't on the pitch long enough. Higham should be in there as one of the few players who actually takes us forward.

Dave
Only my opinion but TL before Orr anyday. Orr was woeful last night.

I wasn't asking who people prefer but suggesting that TL is "not of Wigan standard" judged on what I have seen so far. TL was woeful on Friday.

Had Orr or even Moran played like TL has done there would be plenty calling for their heads so I find it a bit surprising TL is immune from similar criticism given he has not done very well this season IMO.

best
1 trent barret
2 pat richrds
3 feka as a impact prop

worst which i think is unfair out of form we should say

1 hock need sto get some glue
2 d v not enough tries or passes

3 lu lu can do alot better but living in trents shadow needs to do a little more on his own

Surprised that Calderwood has been put in peoples worst lists above DV. Although not at his best, Calderwood has played a lot better than DV.

Had it not been for Withers retirement and Ashton's complete lack of form I think that DV would have played a lot less games this season

I agree Dave. I've reserved judgement on Lulu for some time but he simply doesn't do enough.
His kicking game is woeful, and his passing is mediocre at best. How often do you see him take someone out of the game with a pass?
I feel that opposing teams have also cottoned on to this and so concentrate mainly on Barrett, resulting in him copping for a lot of stick.

I say give him the 3 years that Orr had!

I know what you mean JJ, and I'm no Danny Orr fan, but two wrongs don't make a right.

So what are you proposing? Do we persevere or would you rather get rid? IMO he has not been the biggest disappointment this season. At 21 with a mediocre pack I say stick with him. Hock has been far worse this season, but I say stick with him too. I made the mistake of calling for Wilde's head after a lousy season. I was wrong.

I have posted elsewhere that we should see 6 new faces next season - and that is if Millard stays. That is more than enough IMO. We need to keep disruption down to a minimum.

TL will be a year older, a year wiser and a year more experienced. Danny Orr will just be a year older.

Ian, Feka is an impact prop. In a better squad he would be on the bench at the start of the game. As an impact player he is outstanding. We sorely miss Logan or someone of that calibre.

Can you imagine a team with Platty / Skerrett and Feka on the bench :)
Exactly right! He's a similar player to, for example, Fa'asavalu, who has the benefit of coming on after Fozzard & Cayless.
Or Kylie Leuluai, who comes on after Bailey & Peacock.
Or Vagana, who comes on after Lynch & Feather.

As has been said so many times, we're a prop short.
