It is at least £150,000 A/L The Aus Media reckon King is on more
I hope we stay within the cap next year. I have enjoyed Wigan RLFC being talked about for the right reasons in the last fortnight.

but would you sonner us announce our signings and finished 7th ,im sure nobby dosnt want to rock the boat and upset certain players that could be shown the door wants our season as finished
If its true that today we have signed Danny Ward and Robbie Paul for next year, Wigan could break a new record next season for the least season tickets ever sold.
Well wards gone quins so thankfully he wont be coming. And if we signed robbie paul i would be quite happy, he gives us the experience and more of millard, hes still got a good year or 2 left in him which will also be good for mcillorum for him to learn from someone like paul. And also paul would add a dimension to our kicking game.
On Hicks didnt he break his leg about a month back? quick recovery if thats true.

but if theres no relegation next year only points deduction they could spend big play very well and absorb the points deduction knowing they cant be relegated ,just a thought
My thoughts too! Look at the Stains for example:
If the Stains DO sign any more players - looking at it logically.
This season they were over the cap.
Having resigned all their first team players up for at least one more season, including giving new contracts to reserve players too. IF they sign any new players - THEY MUST BE FURTHER OVER THE CAP - FACT. (Realistically - no player will play for a reduced contract, and why would they?)
The only indiscrepancy I can see is (if) Sculthorpe has accepted a greatly reduced contract and James Roby is set to follow Danial Anderson out of KR, but he himself is rumoured to be only on a (relatively) small wage at the Stains, so it must, logically, mean that the Stains can sign NO-ONE. Unless the Cap, is to be ignored for next season, as is being speculated upon.
