He wasn't outclassed. Wigan targeted Penny all night but nothing came of it so he exhibited no particular defensive frailty. On attack Penny never got a real run with ball in hand as Wigan closed him down very quickly. Colbon did have the odd chance to have a run but as usual didn't have the pace to go for it.
