Maybe he should just do and Ellery and not talk to the media. The people can't jump on every word he says.

"We are going to have to speak to people who are not consistent and say 'You need to pull your socks up'."
"We'll need to be a whole lot better than we were against Wakefield," Noble told BBC Radio Manchester.
Wigan Warriors were defeated at the JJB on Friday night 24-26 by the Catalans Dragons.
Speaking afterwards Brian Noble said,
"I am very disaapointed with the manner we lost as well. We didn't start the game well, we looked a little bit flat for the first 20 minutes. We found some enthusiasm and I thought in the second half we did enough but we couldn't put the nail in the coffin. A couple of things changed the momentum and they got into our half. It was a bit of a sickening blow to lose in the last minute like we did."
"It was embarrassing in a lot of respects in that first 20-25 minutes. We talked about a good start all week, and the only thing we did well was kick off really. We've certainly got plenty of improvement in us that's for sure. It wasn't the best first half at the office.
"You've got to try and take something from the game, I thought a lot of attitudes changed. Let's not hide from the fact that it was slightly embarrassing at half time and people had paid good money to watch this, the likes of the Wigan fans."
This was Wigan's third Super League defeat in a row and Noble added,
"We've got a lot of things we need to fix up real quick because we need to be a whole lot better than that. I'm in there with the players in this and it's important that we fix things up. Putting Humpty Dumpty together again is going to involve a lot of hard work.
"We have to be a whole lot better, embarrassing is probably where we are at. It wasn't just one thing. You look at the quality of skill and the quality of the decisions. Maybe we had too many young players out there but that would be unfair on them because some of the senior blokes haven't shown up so it's a collective thing."
Whist you don't want it to affect your next performance it is important that we recognise we were well off the pace in relation to a lot of things.
"We were very very disappointed. It hurt everybody. It hurt me and it hurt the Wigan fans who have been very very loyal.
"Excuses are running out for certain people.
"It's important that we respond. We have to stay tempered. We have to keep doing some of the things we are doing but we certainly have to change in relation to what we did at the weekend.
"It's important that we recognise that everyone has to show up for this team. We have to reinstill some confidence and reinstill some back-to-basic beliefs that I have."
Brian Noble at MM. He cannot have meant the players because he never drops anybody. Maybe he meant himself :thum:Excuses are running out for certain people
A very Millward-esque thing to do.The King wrote:I cannot believe that Noble changed the team from the Leeds game. That was one of our best performances of the season and what does Noble do? He drops 2 or 3 players and changes the team around and we concede 45 points.
