we're not the only club though whoose attendances are dropping, all clubs are seeming to be losing fans, not sure why.

20,000!

This is a ppe dream.

Given that the North is given to away fans and holds 5000 (?). This means we have to sell out every week in the summer come rain, shine, holidays and perfoormance.

really ? last year we averaged 16k with 3 crowds over 20,000. If we get over 20,000 against the likes of leeds, saints, warrington, bradford, hull teams we will significantly see a rise in the average attendances.

Lenegan said he doesnt care about what the away fans bring, he cares about the home support which is the right way to go about it. If we are to get 20k average I can see it taking a few years definately.

20000 is just a number - IL wants attendances to increase (and he would be barking to say "I want less people to turn up and watch") and that is what he should have said rather than putting a figure on it
"And Martin Offiah, trying to make some space, now then..." - Ray French, Wembley 1994
------------------------------------------------
Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds
