i think its rubbish the rule, if it was a knock on in gerneral play or some one went in with a blatent swinging arm but none of the officals could see it they wouldnt penalise it.. "i cant give it if i dont see it" its said by all officals from pro to ameture.. and that is from sourness that it was a decision against us. i have been thinking it for some while now i think i saw it used against castleford who was dominating but from one benifite of the doubt decision turned the game around!!

the whole point of the game is to touch the ball down with controled downward pressure,the rule should be as simple as if you cannot see the ball grounded no try.i have watched that try frame by frame a dozen times and when tommy slides in and gidley goes on his side gidley does not have the ball in his arms so it must be trapped somewhere between the three of them how they got a try from that is beyond me,the touch judge got it right first time knock on :exc: :exc: :exc:

Excellent point

Asked Tommy about this last night and he said the ball was not grounded cos he had his hand underneath the ball and his body was under Gidley.
