3 years is hardly overnight, Jim.

No-one expected immediate success when he took over, but we should at least be able to see some sort of improvement. Instead, as the win/loss figures I posted show, there's been a steady decline over those three years.

Similarly with the players he's signed over those three years. Can you really say that they're a massive improvement over the ones who left? Carmont & Gleeson, I'd say, but that's about all.

The biggest successes, and the only reason we've won as many games as we have, are the home grown players like Ainscough and Sam & Joel Tomkins, and he's resisted picking them for as long as possible.

Relegation zone to one match away from GF year2 and 3 is not bad either. Statistics can say whatever you want. Noble shoulders the flak. If Rads is saying to Noble hold back on SA until I cure this problem that might be acceptable but Noble has never punted his responsibility so every decission must be his and his alone. In two full seasons Wigan have only been stopped by the top two teams that is a statistic and a fact as well. There are signs that we could catch them this season. Problem is people do not want to wait and see,

Stastics also tell you that you cannot win the GF from 4th place or 6th place season before. To reach the top 2/3 you have to win games all season NOT in the playoffs.
