He's made more tries happen tham any other loose forward in superleague, if that's what you mean.

i think he has a chance. now its voted for by the players, we will see more 'players' players winning it, rather than the flashy players. o'loughlin looks very difficult to play against. his defence is outstanding, not just the amount of it but the quality. he makes plenty of try savers but also the smothering tackles he makes near our line save many quick play the balls and therefore tries.
there are other contenders though. steve menzies has been great in a struggling team, jon wilkin and james graham, michael dobson + brad drew are the ones that spring to mind.

It may be abit too soon to be talking about him winning M.O.S awards or anything like that but nobody can deny he's been on top form this season, not for 3 games but all year long so far! Even when the side was really struggling Lockers was coming up with top draw preformences and he has to be a shoe in for both the England side at the end of the year and for the dream team.

It annoys me when even some Wigan fans question his importance to the side and his general ability. If Lockers was playing at Saints or at Leeds he'd look outstanding with a better quality of player around him. They tend to rave on and on about Sinfield and even Wilkin on Sky at times and neither are a patch on Lockers. The stats show it, their club preformences show it and more telling their international preformences show it! Only Lockers of the 3 has produced each and everytime he's stepped onto an international field playing against the best the world has to offer.

We're lucky to have him.
