Has this happened yet or have we lost a game because of his errors, such as they are? No.
Have we won games because of his tries and attacking play? Yes.
So what do your base your opinion on? A couple of mistakes from a player in his fist season in the first team?
I don't think you have any basis to say he is a liability and are completely over-stating the case.
So until he can handle the high bomb or take the ball from a kick through he wouldnt get an improved deal.. its all hype being built up, let see if there would be significant offers made would you swop him for Myler or is he not in the same class.. is he really that great DAVEO?
I'd swap Roberts Myler and throw Riddell in for free. That would solve a lot of the team building problems in one go.

What would we have done re salary cap, I take it hocky will become exempt if found guilty...
Great news regarding Sam.. Ainscough for me hasnt proved his worth for significantly improved terms too costly in defence and other teams have his number. I dont think there would be a top side queuing up for him, but there would be for Sam
There is truth in what you say about Ainscough,he is very poor in defence and needs to improve.

Carney had the same problem for a little while before the epic tries against Leeds & Bradford.

One big reason Myler is ahead of Ainscough in terms of development is that he was given the chance earlier in his career. They're the same age, but Myler was given the #7 shirt aged 17, and has started every game since then. Meabnwhile, Ainscough continues to be stuck in the reserves, where the standard is nowhere near good enough to learn anything. A wasted two years, for him, that should have been spent improving his game in SL.
As many of us have said, Roberts is not much better defending kicks (as shown again on Sunday), and is nowhere near as much of a threat in attack.
