His bad shoulders seem to be in direct contrast to his terrific upper body strength. He can, and does, punch well above his weight. I've seen him break through tackles then use his speed to make telling breaks. Bearing in mind that Saints have no speed on the wings, maybe Potter will give him go there. Actually Saints don't have much speed anywhere on the pitch so I suppose he could be tried in a few positions. One thing I stand by is that I don't see him as a replacement for Longy. He looked completely out of his depth against Warrington in the cup semi - totally anonymous.

Eastmond has a problem with the tendons in his shoulders. He apparently has to go through a rigorous stretching regime even before training.
Watched him last season scoring a hat trick for the reserves at Orrell when he looked the difference between the two teams.
At the time I posted on here and said that at the time he was a better player than Sam, but this was due to the first team opportunities he had gained at that time.
At this point, there is no longer a comparison IMO. Sam will win Young Player of the Year at the Man of Steel awards whilst Kyle has stagnated. The only player at Saints this year who has improved his reputation is Paul Clough.

Has turned down the contract extension offered by stains. They will not offer more contract money for a player now fully expected to move to Sale at the end of the 2010 season.
Expect Mr Long to return to KR in 12 months time as the returning prodigal son ala Fozzard

Unless Sale offer a transfer for an early release!

Todays SUN.
Wolves eye Eastmond if new deal with stains falls through.
His manger, Offiah keen for him to stay in Superleague.
Quote -'A host of SL clubs would love to land Eastmond but wolves owner Simon Moran knows he can blow them out of the water if it comes to an auction'
And pay him top dollar and keep wolves under the salary cap??????????

Not as creative as Myler and Tomkins but like Robinson would make a good winger!

Someone posted on RedVee that he has only managed 3 games for Bath all season and wants to return to League. Seems he has been plagued by injury.

Kyle who? Exactly! Never looked to be in same class as Sam like all stains fans were saying, hope he comes no where near Wigan if returns to league
