Mrs Lam I think The Pies was a band that was a precursor for the one hit wonders The La's. It used to be painted on the wall at Kirkdale Station. I used to see it when attending " The School Of Science"

Mrs Lam, now I will not worry about your English A level if YOU ARE nice to me but will YOUR results be posted to your Dad if you do not go up to Winstanley to collect them? I bet he will drive you there himself.
A little tale for you here, when my eldest lad was in Oz for 13 weeks for the GB tour, I will not tell you the year but Henderson said Bye Bye Gary Jack, he rang up from deepest Northern Territories wanting to know his results and I did not have them so I was sent to the Grammar School for them ready for when I got my next reversed charges call an hour later. Two years later my younger son came home from 9 weeks in the USA on the day after the results came out and I picked him up from Gatport Airwick not having got his results, because I had categorically been ordered not to pick up his results, he wanted to do it himself, and all the way up the M1 he 'knew' he had failed because I kept telling him I had not got his results and would not tell him his grades. You cannot win as a parent. If you work out that Garry Jack question I should say that I was a child bride, much I suspect like GeoffN.
