Roberts Gone home?

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Amos has given notice on the house that he's renting, saying that he's returning to aus in November & won't be renewing his contract.

Interesting first post  Maybe he does not like the house and is moving during the close season to a better location locally? Maybe he is buying a house. Prices are good but will rise soon so he can make a tidy profit when he goes. Mind you a couple of games back from injury and he is a write-off already. He was gettin the keys to Wigan before he hit that post. Oh Dear

True, true Jim.

However, is he doing a "Barrett" and requesting an early release or is he simply being used as a scapegoat for poor form?

As I said, we will all know in time for sure which it is

Source ?

Seems strange to say the least, would be a shame to see him go if this is true.

Keep Wigan "Wigan"

Sam will be a legend at full back and our current winger's are try scoring machines. If amos goes my best memory will be his try that helped us to our first win at the halliwell.

Could he simply be moving to another property in Wigan?

I don't know. I'm just forwarding some information.Choose to believe it or treat it as a rumour.

However, although there are no direct quotes from Amos himself (I don't know him & have only briefly met him once), the information is that he has given up the house as he intends to return home to Australia. He may have other reasons for giving his notice but we've been told it's due to his wife/partner being homesick.
