I think the only people who would be disappointed would be those who specifically buy a ticket to the game where we get the shield.. if these people bought them for the Hudds game them they should, in theory, be the only disappointed ones. Luckily i was planning to go to the game where we got the shield (no season ticket) and didnt buy one until it was confirmed... lucky escape for me then.
Who knows what game is being played on SKY when Wigan play Bradford? or will there be any? Possibly after the match the TV can switch to the DW for the presentation. I am sure that sky wont want to miss this as it's part of the game, their highlights and spectacle. Only takes 2 camera men and a link guy in a van

Leeds picked up there's last season at salford and wasn't even on sky. Wouldn't be suprisde if bradford game wasn't on sky but depends if playoffs are decided.

But of course simple logic tells you, you would not know if it would have been higher still without the fixture change.
I don't know what the crowd figure was last season for this game but I'd be surprised to see an increase even though you might expect it given we are playing much better in 2010.

My understanding is that traditionally the RFL brought the trophy ready to present or not if the result went badly as and when the trophy was won be it a home or away match. So we might win the League on Sunday (I hope) or at our next game.
Not being a pessimist at all. But he shouldn't be disgusted, as we haven't won the league. We lose (god forbid) and either Stains or Dire win, (also god forbid)
We don't get the trophy. Sorry to be a damp cushion, but you have to look at all possibilities.

St Helens delayed the presentation of League Leaders trophy on several occasions so that it would coincide with a home match.
Either way it was the right decision to delay the presentation when Wigan are not guaranteed to win it against Huddersfield. If results go Wigan's way then the club can advertise the trophy presentation for definite after the Bradford game.
Hence in part why the League Championship has become wrongly devalued. Bring back the old system

It was the Wigan Club who decided against having the shield presented on Sunday. This is what I seem to remember hearing anyway. It was something to do with the fact that it wasn't a definate that we had actually got the top spot.
