Joel Monaghan signs for Warrington

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Joel is going to get some stick from the opposition fans... The Wire are barking mad for fetching him over here!

He does have decent pedigree tho!

Anyway good luck to the lad. Woof Woof! :D
Been mentioned in the press that Chris Hicks has, or will be retiring.

Know where your coming from KW.
The only bit I read was that Hicks had signed a new 12 month contract in July last year, however he was now reconsidering retirement plans and quit to allow Monaghan to move to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on a 12-month deal.
Thats why I mention he has/or maybe leaving Wire.

Wire are dodgy at best when it comes to signings IMO.
Always under the cloud that new players replacing players moving on.

CP has already paralleled this with the situation at Melbourne.

As he said, you don't sign a lucrative contract then change your mind and retire just as a dog lover comes along!

This whole situation should be ringing alarm bell at Red Hall but my guess is that Putin is involved somewhere down the line.

And I have heard the 2013 World Cup may now be played on a guitar!

I think Wire will miss Hicks. Joel IMO is on the downward slide and much more a centre than winger.

Wire are IMO as dirty as it comes re the cap. The big worry from an England perspective is that Bridge/Atkins may be pushed out. Riley certainly.
