What's the story with Lockers? We look like a very different team when he's off the pitch, two perfect examples being today and last weekend.

If he's carrying a serious injury he needs to get sorted before the play-offs.

Tight hamstring IIRC from Wembley. Personally, I tend to think that by and large you are better playing fresh healthy players than flogging battered and bruised ones.

The moment we failed to deal with the kick off the writing was on the wall. No field position and little possession is bad against anybody let alone Wire.

Can anyone explain why we looked so tired today.I felt we also looked jaded in the second half of the challenge cup final.

Is the three in a tackle beginning to work against us?

Thought Max not turning up was a bit sus. Then I hear he was kidnapped! Coincidence....??
Some defeatest talk here like all is lost. Warrington still have Hull to beat, and the way Hull played yesterday, they are in very good form at the right time and wouldn't be surprised to see them carry it forward into the play-offs with a win over wire.
We'll learn from this defeat for sure, too professional an outfit not to.

I do think Hull at Hull might be an upset. Wire got up for our game like it was a cup final.

Why did we look tired? We played the first 40 on the back foot from the kick off onwards and spent the half trying to get out of our 20. That sort of workload burns energy. Throw in Wembley and excessive alcohol and your body will not do what your mind wants it to do.

Whether Hull win next week or not, it really doesn't matter. It's nice to see so many philosophical posts on here.
We got thumped today. And it happens. So what of the future? Well MM will take the team into next week having been bumped down to earth with a bang. There's no problem with that and it may benefit us. I personally think that the Crusaders are gonna get a hammering next week.

This was one game and the bigger picture looks so much brighter.

When MM took over, if I'd said to anyone Hubcap and GF winners 2010 and CC winners 2011, everyone would have snatched my hand off. Anything else we get now is a bonus and even finishing second in the league gives us as good a chance as any of being at Old Trafford. It's already a successful season and it could get better.

Taking my Wigan hat off and putting my RL one on for a moment.......Any team who's points difference is +1038 with one round to go, ought to be winning something. That's a massive achievement by Wire and I don't begrudge them finishing first.

They will just look idiots when it's all taken off them due to salary cap breaches :sly:

Nah, Hull now safe in the playoffs and cannot have any other ambitions.
