Well said Kooch, I would hope that the fans who run the site would treat homophobic remarks in the same way that they would deal with racist ones.

Why not? It is so patently obvious the only reason Wigan would sign him has nothing to do with playing ability so the first thing anyone will do is question the motive behind it. So at best it will be viewed as a cynical move to cash in on any publicity from his film.

There has also never been any positive publicity when any club signs a bad player.

If we had signed him 10 years ago then OK but it is 10 years too late.
