Could it not be because of kevin brown? isnt he married to lockers sister or vice versa? or have i totally made that up?

Rads Cleared To Play

Warriors legendary full back Kris Radlinski has this morning been cleared by the RFL to play in tonight's Sean O'Loughlin testimonial fixture against Huddersfield Giants here at the DW Stadium, 8pm kick off.

Kris last played for the Club in 2006 after coming out of retirement to play and help the Club move away from the threat of relegation.

Kris has made 322 appearances for the Warriors between 1994 and 2006 scoring 183 tries in that time.

For the last couple of season's Kris has played an important link role on a match day on the touchline from the Coaching Staff in the gantry to the players on the field but tonight once again he will be on the field in the thick of the action.

The idea for Kris to play came from a conversation between Head Coach Shaun Wane and Skipper Sean O'Loughlin, speaking about the news Lockers told us:

"I don't think he was so keen on the idea at first he said no, but I am chuffed to bits about it and really grateful to Rads. It's a great way to start my testimonial year."

Shaun Wane has confirmed he will field a young side for the game with some experienced players also involved with another pre-season game to prepare for against Salford as early as next Tuesday.

Fans can pay on the turnstiles at the DW this evening with the East and West Stands open.

Robinson excited by O'Loughlin testimonial

Huddersfield's game against Wigan for Sean O'Loughlin's testimonial will be a special occasion not only for O'Loughlin, but for former team-mate and current Giants hooker Luke Robinson.

Robinson, 26, grew up with O'Loughlin and the pair remain close friends. Robinson progressed through the Wigan academy with O'Loughlin, forcing his way in to the first team, before eventually leaving the DW Stadium in 2005, and winding up at Huddersfield via a loan spell at Castleford and three years at Salford.

The Giants travel to the DW Stadium for the match tonight (Thursday, 8pm) and Robinson is delighted to be a part of it.

He told Huddersfield's official club website: "I have known Lockers since I was 13, so it is going to be a real honour and a privilege to be a part of such a special occasion but that doesn’t mean I want it to go well for him on the pitch tonight."

Robinson has also penned an article in O'Loughlin's testimonial brochure.

He added: "When I was asked to write a piece, I knew I’d have to take the mickey out of him, it would have been rude not to. Over the years I’ve got to know him really well and what makes him tick, and that’s given me a real insight into his character.

"I have known him since I was 13, we’ve got a bit of a special bond, and I’m absolutely chuffed to bits I’ll be involved in his testimonial game. I will be delighted to see him walk out there for his special game tonight."

Robinson made his return from injury in last weekend's friendly defeat against Castleford.
