Fujiman wrote:Think the bloke with the microphone who likes the sound of his own voice embellished the statement put out by Rads. Rads has tweeted he wasn't abused. I remember Phil Veivers getting dogs abuse but he still came in the week after
Big Phil gave back as good as he got

I don't know the guy personally but would guess he does the job voluntarily. He's alsoa true fan. I've seen him on lots of away trips including Montpellier last year. Maybe Kittwazzer will do the job next week - I wouldn't!

Sorry should have said next match!

Wish I hadn't asked.

Only go in the SS bar before the games, so didn't know what the anouncement was about. Still none the wiser.

It's true no other sport would see the managers and team mixing with the fans, but this is no ordinary sport or Club. We should respect their contribution and they should be ready to accept our frustration when they fail to deliver all that is promised.

Although it is a fine line between abuse and frustration.

May I point out that it is our policy we rely upon the MOM being announced... a basic fundamental element of our online forum being for the predictors.

For whatever the reason, I find it ridiculous that anyone from the club is surprised or even mildly upset over any criticism from a bunch of drunks in a bar after a game has been lost!

What do they expect?

The biggest Room is the Room for improvement.

The best form of defence is attack!!

Out of the black and into the red, remember you don't get anything for two in a bed!!

Where has all the comments about abuse and drunkeness come from.
I was in there at a table just to the left of Geoff Lima and Rads and there was no hint of abuse, not even a raised voice.
Before any questions were even asked, Geoff apologised for the players poor performances, and Rads said that Waney had ripped into the players.
Rads was defending the team straight off by saying "Lets face it, its the first match of the season.
This was accepted and applauded by those in the bar.
The questioning was answered fairly and those listening accepted what Geoff and Chris replied with.
No more no less.
