Wigan we luckey for it to finish 20-0.

Wire had 3 or 4 ruled out for forward passes and dropped the ball on 3 occoossion close to the line (bad passes from Winger to centre).

even with Sam in the team we still would ahve been well beaten. Our forward had no go forward what so ever. We were domonated which meant we did not get out of our own half.

When we were kicking on the last tackle they were catching it on the full and making it back to half way.

i can remeber wigan being on the front foot from a play the ball on 4 occasions.

Your forwards have to win the contact down the middle and they didn't.

Add to this incorrect play the balls on 2 or 3 plays and maybe 5 forward passes in the game and it makes for the most dissopointing performance in a while.

it still as not put me off. i think we will still be competative just not as much as last year.

I'd have been more concerned if Sam had played giving Smith and Wire chance to smash him during the game, and take him out for a few weeks so he couldn't play against them in the league.
