Re: Sean Long
Wigan Warriors today announce that Sean Long will leave the Club with immediate effect.
Whilst it remains clear to the Wigan staff that Sean is a highly skilled and competent coach, he has found it difficult as a new staff member to integrate into the disciplined and already high-performing culture at the Wigan club. This has been particularly challenging for him at such a crucial time, part way through the season.
The parting was mutual and Wigan wish Sean well in his next role.

Powell wasn't working with Long. Long has been working with the U19's halfbacks,God wrote:I think he was a snake in the grass, Phelps all over again and how convenient considering we have Saints up next. What a bum appointment, A.Powell was supposed to be doing work with Long,he has done fk all by all accounts and just arsed about getting tattoos instead.

From what I'm hearing, a return to Salford is on the cards. Whilst we may never know what really went on, anyone involved in his future employment no doubt will be told.
