He would be a damn site better Nee. Green would pose a much greater running threat and his passing is far better on the right side. He needs to be used for his strengths rather than going through the same old tired training ground plays.

Our half backs need to be closer to the POTB and their kicking would improve big time if we get good go forward. Lateral Wane Ball kills our kicking game.

Logan on the bench BTW is a total waste of a spot. No reflection on him but he is either a starting player or not at all player. Hampshire, Williams would offer much more impact from the bench.

mmmmm let me think, and then put egg in your face:-

1. Rangi chase-where is he going?

2. Francis Meli-where is he going?

3. How many players do Salford have going to them?? - How much space in the salary cap will we have end of season, and still do nothing with it.

4. HKR, Salford and Warrington between them have quite a few players going to them.
You are trying to put egg on my face and the 2 names you come up with are Francis Meli and Rangi Chase!? You said 'Great' foreign players did you not? Let me break this to you gently, FRANCIS MELI and RANGI CHASE are NOT 'GREAT' foreign players. Meli has been a good SL winger at best and Chase on his day is a good SL player. 'Great' foreign players are Smith, Cronk, Thaiday, Slater, Marshall, Gallen!!

I am going to end this conversation now because clearly you are not that knowledgeable after reading that previous post.

No hard feelings! It's good to talk!
lol,

Rangi chase is a great player. He is only limited by a poor Cas side. He creates just about all they do, and I would have him anyday over Green.

And as for my knowledge, get a clue, look at all the other posts by different people who are stating players going to other clubs. Yes, theres egg on your face!
You said 'great' players, all the players mentioned are not great players and Rangi Chase is certainly not great otherwise he would be in the NRL and play for NZ not England. You said you would put egg on my face, please don't rely on other posters to help you with their posts because your post was ridiculous!

Look in the mirror quick, there is a bit of yolk dripping from your eyebrow!!

The phrase was 'great', none of them are 'great'.
What kind of rugby do you watch?? Every player mentioned would improve us greatly. And Sa'u is one of if not the best second rowers in the world.
Improving us does not make them 'great' players. I watch SL and NRL!!

Agreed particularly re Lateral Wane ball killing our kicking game based particularly on tonight, it was evident more than ever. I feel sorry for Smith, I'm a big fan, he would o a lot better if he didn't have to take on extra kicking responsibility to compensate for Greens overall kicking game.

IMO anyone who suggests that Salford will possibly struggle again next season or maybe only just reach the play offs are thinking naively. Albeit us Wigan fans are not fans if Nobby, there are worse coaches out there. They have recruited some very good (not great) players. They will challenge next year, make no mistake about that.

Not sure who you are replying to Rob

BUT Matty Smith and Chase would be a great halfback combo for us and Tim Smith and Chase will be a very good one for Salford particularly if Smith has sorted his defence out which he seems to have.

I will say it here and now that Salford will reach a final in 2014, If they do Rob, you donate £10 to Mike for the website. If they do not, I will donate £10.

Nobby will not have to do much coaching IMO.

Why Hampshire was not even in the 17 tonight is a joke. This was the game to test him and see if he could cope with it now. If Green has a donkey next week then its a big gamble to play either the following week.
