One of my favourites

Got back from the Nines not too long ago...

Safe to say, awesome experience.

Our boys looked amazing, their defence actually improved over the course of the day. Johnson and Tomkins just tearing everyone apart, Fish, Kata, Lolohea, all with great touches. But, my most impressive player of the day? Sione Lousi - just looks unbelievably hungry, as well as absolutely massive, and the touches he had for the try he put on were magnificent. Reckon we could see a big season from Sione.

Just on Tomkins though... how very lucky are we to have scored his signature? To reiterate what Sup42 said, when the Warriors first came out for the first time today, to warm up before their first game, Sam and Shaun lead them out in tandem and the house went absolutely beserk when Tomkins clapped at the crowd... it was like the Champs are here. Haha. He definitely got smashed in that Manly game, but bounced up like nothing happen - not only that, but I saw he knew exactly who smashed him, because when they ran at him, he absolutely leveled them in an awesome tackle. His footwork and ball playing is really peerless - he is footy smart to the nth degree.

Bring on tomorrow.

Sam and Johnson had great games and Sam already seems to have settled in well.

Give Sam a special cheer from all the Wigan fans MT Smart and let us know how he is doing :D
Will do. I'm seated right by where he Warms up , he looked me straight in the eye yesterday. He's a rock star in Auckland.
Great stuff.

Can we get Johnson over to Wigan once sam's contract is up - it would be a shame to break the partnership.

Right take a deep breath and think carefully. Just because somebody denies something it does not means that it has not happened or is not true. I refer you to the Sam Tomkins transfer debacle as just one of umpteen examples.

P.S If somebody has wasted 5 years on Twitter then I am sure he has enough to pick up a phone and call his solicitor when there is the prospect of easy lucre!
Not happening, your memory must be fading since the Sam situation was never confirmed or denied. His agent who openly says the story is lies or you with your 0% hit rate, not a hard choice really so stop wasting your time.
You could always use your twitter with your real name and openly accuse him of lying, you're so sure please do it :eh:
Micky Mac's been sacked, Josh isn't going to the us because he is joining union, McBanana was prearranged to join union before the world cup

 Dear God. I will say this very carefully and then you either apologise or continue to look like a fool. It really is your choice.

The statements below were never posted by me nor did I say anything about them. Unless you are a fool I expects you to apologise and hold your hands up and say hey I attributed statements to you, I got it wrong, apologies

You are correct I did say the England Coach was lined up to go to Union to Bath as an assistant. I was told that in Good faith FROM AN AGENT!!! Unfortunately, things change and McNamara then got the Roosters gig. You can make a statement one day and unless something is signed / sealed / nailed on; it can change even at the very last minute. 100% of those who publish such news for a living thought exactly the same as I did. He was actually offered the position at Bath and as I say things change sometimes incredibly late.

People can choose to believe or not believe anything I say that is their choice (free world etc etc) Most people trust what I say because my sources are as good as they can be and after so many thousands of posts when you get things right 90% of the time you gain some latitude at the odd / rare mistake. It is about CREDIBILITY!

Sam was gone months ahead of what was publically claimed and in between there was umpteen denials. There is actually a part of the season review on Wigan TV where a Wigan employee inadvertently lets it slip that they knew Sam was leaving X months before (despite the denials).

Lets get this back on topic :exc: Sam has the potential to be an amazing success in the NRL. He has the skills set and the attitude combined with being at the optimum age. NZ / NRL will see the very best of Sam. IMO he is reminiscent of Billy Slater at a similar age. The older Billy whilst still an amazing player is now less mecurial / spellbinding. NZ fans are getting that. Ditto, Wigan we have signed an amazing player in Matty Bowen BUT at Sams age he was mecurial / spellbinding. The one caveat to anything in RL is that injuries can restrict even the very best. Here's hoping Sam stays injury free.

It is great that Sam is doing well. The fear is who is next. Charnley's Agent; Andy Peters (ex BBC presenter) has been hawking him around the NRL for 2015 IIRC.
With the new exemption rule on the cap do you think that his agent is been clever and making waves so Josh gets that extra pay that comes with the new rule next year i think.

If it was me i would never have a winger as the top paid at the club. That should be one of the spine of the team 1,6,7,9, or 13. But once again a Wigan player gets rumored to the NRL.

I just hope if the rumor is true then at least IL treats us with bit of common sense and not does not give the rumor the same response as the Sam Tomkins one to the NZW. Especially since it was obvious early on last season he was off.

Quite possibly. At the end of the day the agents only doing his job and also serving his own interests too. I think the one time they overstep the mark is when they encourage a player to leave so they can get a %

Likewise, Your spine is the key. Wingers the least deserving BUT as Offiah and Billy whiz showed they can turn all those theories on the head and become the highest earners.
