Poor performance in the 1st half got to improve for next week against Saints think Mr Wane changes the team too much and it about time Ryan Hampshire had that no 6 shirt off Blake Green

Suzie. There's already a thread on this, in fact there are 3! They are all called Wigan v London!

Green looked like he was bothered in the 2nd half but in general the attack was rubbish. No cohesion at all.

For those not there don't let the 36 points let you think we got it together. London could hardly walk at the end they were so knackered. Thornley's try, 2nd last Wigan one illustrated this very well.

The ball came left and Thornley was well in field and as he ran toward the left corner I don't think there was anyone more surprised than him to see no defenders in front of him.

Taylor and Eddie P had a field day dragging Broncos players years on each carry but for all the meters made we could not take advantage of the position gained. Virtually no dummy runners or anything that looked likely to unlock the defence by skill.

Thank God for Bowen's try to give us something to cheer. I think he is getting faster and Goulding could not keep up and no, I don't think Goulding was easing off as there was a Bronco giving chase so Bowen may have needed to pass.

There was a 'stag' party I was led to believe & some were quite inebriated to say the least.

One guy was lying on the floor outside the East stand with a couple of stewards & St. John's in attendance.

I saw the stewards sit the guy up, & ask him if he was gonna calm down.

I didn't see anything and I didn't rush out of the ground (I was trying to send the final score from my phone above!) but then I sit in the East stand and head off over the bridge to the car park so was heading away from the south.

On rlfans there is a thread from a London fan who was planning a stag do in Wigan after the match and he was bringing several people new to RL. I don't want to jump to conclusions but it will be interesting if they have any comments in the next few days.

Shaun Unhappy Despite Wigan Win

Wigan Warriors ran out 36-14 winners over a determined London Broncos side at the DW Stadium on Friday night.

The Warriors trailed 0-10 before running in seven tries with a brace for Tony Clubb, Dan Sarginson and IainThornley, Matty Bowen was the other Wigan try scorer.

Speaking post match Head Coach Shaun Wane said,

"I was upse,t wanting half time to come so I could say my bit. I thought we would always get the win but they came here and put up a very spirited performance, they ran hard and that is the best they have played. We need to get used to the fact that teams come here and will raise their game and that is what London did. I don't think we were quite ready for them today.

"I don't think the score flattered us, I thought we were worthy winners but there were parts of the first half I was really disappointed with, the way we defended and the errors we came up with. If you don't turn up with the right attitude you will get burned and we tested ourselves today.

Asked about any performances that impressed in the win, Shaun added,

"I thought George Williams played well, I thought Matty did well at the back, Lockers had a dig and when Eddy came on he ran hard, but we weren't fluent enough today."

Asked about Saints on Good Friday, Shaun added,

"We will get more on Friday I know that, we will turn up, a big game with a big atmosphere. The way we played today was typical of the atmosphere in the ground, it was flat and our performance was flat which was disappointing."

I'd add Taylor to that list. Him and Eddie made loads of yard with Broncos players hanging on. That is the impression I got anyway. Be interested to see the stats.

Mr Wane. The atmosphere won't be flat if the team doesn't spend most of the first half playing like a bunch of confused strangers who have forgotten how to tackle!
