Eh?! What the hell's that got to do with Mickey running into someone's elbow? Purely accidental and nothing to do with size etc. :with:menpond wrote:Not sure about this but there is a real problem in Union over duty of care regarding clubs relationship with players/injuries and predatory lawyers after compensation over duty of care. There is talk of size limitations by player position to attempt to limit the damage and consequential financial penalties.Presumably Wigan have their own lawyers advising on this?

He's going for a scan, but has told Waney that he's playing Saturday
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Lawyers have 2 lines of attack, over agressive training causing unnecessary injuries, and sending players out to play with existing injuries so not fully fit.

If you are ill and still go to work (assuming you have a job), is that your responsibility or that of your employer? If MM is saying that he's ok to play and his injury is not going to be to the detriment of the team, that's not the club's responsibility.menpond wrote:Lawyers have 2 lines of attack, over agressive training causing unnecessary injuries, and sending players out to play with existing injuries so not fully fit.
You really are quite an odd specimen aren't you? With some of your ramblings.
