As a footnote to this,i was telling anyone who would listen last year, that we should of broke the bank for Jamie Soward during his little sojourn to London! I remember some saying they wouldn't want him & that he was past it,Origin days well behind him ha ha muppets. Did any of them watch him almost single handedly turn Penrith into a semi final side this year i wonder? Top player with a radar boot, massive miss by Mr L & cohorts me thinks

Frustratingly for me is, why isn't matty smith kicking well? When he's played any games for saints, he's kicked!! When he was playing for Salford he was the kicker, and from what I remember, he seemed to kick well. Now with us he is very inconsistent, and why isn't his kicking form getting any better, he's worked with iestyn and deacs , both of whom could knock em over for fun!!!

Wane needs to sort this out for next season. If Smith turns up next season as our goal kicker and carries on in the same way, Wane will be at fault.
Come on, Hampshire missed three conversions in last weeks Academy Grand Final which nearly lost us the game and he is a better goal kicker than Smith!
What has Hampshire got to do with it? The thread is about our first team goal kicker which is currently Smith.

Do you agree Smith's strike rate is not good enough?

If he is our kicker next year and this does not improve, do you agree Wane will be at fault for not addressing the issue?

Yes Wane needs to look a this asap. From what i can gather Rocky can kick and for me he is a natural 6.

Smith is a good kicker problem is in SL for a top side you have to be very good. He improved from the start of the season but still not at the leave we need.
