FT 28-0 lost internet signal before that's why updates stopped. solid performance by the lads considering the conditions, was a little worried early on with the amount of errors and penalties, but made up with that back to back nillings ????????

Pretty poor conditions, first 20 pretty even, 2nd 20 we controlled much better. Cas short kicks slightly better. Still thought we was good for our half time lead. We was a lot more aggresive in the tackle. Lockers Mick Mac leading the way with the hits. Matty Smith with a very good controlled half back performance which was on par with his Lance Todd play in similar conditions. Second half we controlled they looked more tired. Smith deserved Mom Bateman was very very good. Great 2 points in the conditions.

I didn't go last night, but by all accounts it seemed a very good win.Glad smith is getting praise again as I rate him very highly, unlike some of his knockers. Also glad for Bateman who shouldn't have been dropped to the bench last year for Joel imo.
Just a few quick questions
1.how long did lockers play for?
2.how was rocky under the high ball?
3.does anyone have any idea when Thornley is due back?(the question of all questions lol)

1..Lockers did a good half hour, he put himself around with some cracking tackles. He ran the ball like a prop, we know what he can do with ball in hand conditions didn't allow him last night.
2.They put a couple up I think Burgess and Manfriedi are helping more now. He did what he needed, although Cas put quite a lot of short low kicks in which looked dangerous but we covered them well.
3. Sure I was told two to three weeks. He's also put some beef on apparently.

Nasty night weather wise did all that was asked really mistakes happened but given i dropped a carrier bag in that rain i can forgive them dropping a wet rubgy ball being chicked about,Matty Smith was excellent for my money kept his head when kicking in the rain.
So yes a good win on a night that could have been a banana skin for Wigan.
