Well and truly suckered. Should have been a forwards game given the conditions.
Hampshire a liability at fullback.
Powell NO Logan Tomkins YES.
Can't understand the logic of taking MickeyMac off when he is having a blinder.
Really, really frustrated by this abject performance.

He is not a full back has the attacking ability but defence is poor and high ball he is making errors in some games.
Don't blame the lad, blame the coach if that is your view. He has played 6 all his life and he is now expected to play fullback at SL level? Square pegs and round holes comes to mind. In rugby league it is highly unlikely that all 17 players will play to the peak of their abilities in any one game (if they do you get a blow out result) therefore, it is imperative that poor individual performances are offset by a good team performance. Tonight, too many players played poorly to ensure anything but a defeat.

HKR proved that a team who does the basics better than the opposition, respects possession, commands territory and has the desire to win can overcome a team who should, on paper, win by a country mile.
Wane did not drop the ball which is a basic any player should be able to catch under no pressure.

So true and I don't think he ever will be as he has not got the temperament.

I will be honest, I am far from convinced but have to give him a chance in his natural position!!

not going to happen without injury, like i said several weeks ago, being the bees knees at academy doesn't automatically mean your going to be the bees knees at senior level

He certainly cant catch a high ball but I think he is the special one as a half back.

Hampshire at full back is Wigan's Achilles heal.

Good player - not a full back, too short and no confidence in going for high balls for that position. Let's hope Wigan don't try and muddle with this line up all season as the results for the games that matter will repeat

The best form of defence is attack!!

I am guessing with a degree of certainty that Rocky never played full back once in his life before coming to Wigan. Nevertheless he the most talented young stand off in Britain. Keep the faith in both Rocky and George!
