The ? is can we rescue our season and if replacing Wane means winning the GF then it has to be worth it. If retaining him = no GF loss then doing nothing and anybody who advocates it have a lot to answer for.

Is doing nothing the answer? or The Wigan Way?

I think it's debatable wether we will make the top 4, it's going to be difficult without being able to win away from home. if we don't even make the 4 then getting to GF is irrelevant

Rescuing the club from third in the table?
C'mon CP, I could see your angle if we were looking also rans here.
Why can't we win it with the current set up from 3rd in the table and possibly higher?

Of course we can. The fact that there are only 4 teams in the competition "not rubbish" enough to win it ensures this.

The reality is that we should be sailing it and we are not.

For me PM, last season we blew the CC, LL and the GF. This season we have blown the CC and I believe unless something happens we will blow the LL (I thinks that has gone and personally it matters not to me) and the GF. 2 seasons of failure is bad for any club but when you start with the legacy of Madge, the best depth, best junior talent, best facilities (people criticise IL but bar having a stadium, some of the thing in recent seasons have been fantastic (Central Park etc) and the best backroom staff in RL. To blow all those fantastic advantages is incredulous.

I would like to think we can win but to be honest replacing Wane now even for a short term appointment is more likely to make that happen than keeping faith with wane. The man probably loves the club / job but Wane is hurting this club through sheer stupidity.

But the depth of the squad doesnt mean the quality is as good as Madge had, look back at the 2011 team and tell me that its anywhere near this years. That is ultimately down to IL, his wage structure is very poor

I dont think anyones squad is better than in 2011, thats not down to IL, its down to the Aus salary cap and the fact that ours hasnt moved.

Wholeheartedly agree. Leeds were in a bad spot but are managing to renew an ageing squad. Saints are nowhere near what they were then. Likewise Wire. SL is weaker than it has ever been.

Got to agree 100% with both of you.I keep saying how weak SL is,but friends just think I say this due to Wigan not being dominant. If you took out all the nrl based players out of the England squad, we would be very very poor imo.
I also think only Leeds,Wigan, saints and wires have a genuine chance of winning the grand final(and that's been for quite a few years). But again, that's only my opinion
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE
