I think Ian L just about got away with it. Not exactly bombarded with southern interest and sponsorship since then ate we?!

How do you know we haven't? It's a genuine question not a pop at you.Our game suffers from a lack of exposure in the media generally so things may have happened we aren't aware of.

I wonder if IL has thought about doing the job properly and take a Leeds or Saints match down there? That should keep the locals happy!
However both those matches would be on Sky and why turn out to watch live down there when its on the telly?
I can't get my head round it all tbh and my only conclusion is personal gratification if I'm truthful.

I was criticized for having a good day watching our team play at the den. Well if we go back I fully intend on enjoying myself again. Perhaps enjoying your day was not the reason to go to London but why would anybody see that an good fan experience as anything but positive.

Glad you enjoyed yourself, I prefer to travel down there for special occasions. Each to his own!
Furthermore if you are going down there you do it proper as I previously said. Salford or Hull at the Den is a gripping thought isn't it?

I think Hull will be a good top eight maybe top four side. That would be a game well worth watching darn Sarf

Yes I saw that. That's good news. I was just thinking that we'd probably need a fair bit of interest to justify taking the game to London.

And, you're right, I have no idea what goes on behind the scenes.

We will probably go to the London match again if the date suits. We enjoyed the game and had a right laugh on the coach trip!

I wonder how many ST holders complaining about the London game swerved the DW on Monday/Thursdays in favour of the TV? I've bought a ST for next season but I won't see all home games as those nights don't work for me.

As for the success, IFL said at the outset it was an experiment and the fact he aims to repeat the exercise suggests it was worth his while. He is nobody's fool!

As for which game, I reckon Sky will have the biggest say and knowing how much they like to televise a big crowd, doubt it will be Saints, Leeds or Wire. Huddersfield would be my bet because Ken Levy strikes me as the kind of entrepreneur who would like to 'test the water' for his own club.

With this in mind, I wonder if any other clubs have a similar plan in mind?

I toyed with the idea of going this year but baled at the last minute. I'll do my best next year because everyone I've spoken to who went had a great time. And I never got to a London away game which I know a great many fans used to look forward to every year!
