Indeed. He was an evil so and so from birth IMO despite the view by some that events helped form his views. Yes he started out in the normal political system, competing for votes. Initially the Nazis had just over one third of the vote, still the biggest of any party but once he was given a key position and more and more power he evolved into a fully fledged dictator two years later. The door was opened and the rest is history.

If you are trying to say he wasn't always a dictator , fine , but you should have said that .

He could not be a dictator DSTM because he was not in control of anything. He wasn't even a German. He did not even create the Nazi Party. He was still a soldier when he discovered an increasingly popular far-right group, the German Workers' Party (Eventually to become the Nazi Party). Hitler he agreed with their nationalist, anti-Semitic beliefs, so he joined. Even at this stage, Hitler has not become a dictator.

The Nazi Part leadership group did not like how popular Hitler became so they tried to join the socialist when Hitler was away. Hitler resigned. He only rejoined the NAZIS when he was later given complete control. You could argue from that point he became a dictator of the Nazi Party.

Even at that stage, Hitler was throw in prison so he was the dictator of nothing until released.

So , if I post 'Shaun Edwards wasn't a Rugby League player ' , that is a factually correct statement , because until he was , he wasn't ?

But he was still a dictator cp whether it was later or not. I cannot understand your logic when you say he wasn't one. Sorry.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

He was indeed a Dictator, but what I think cpwigan is getting at is that he was elected to power.

No doubt by the same kind of ill informed people that Dave O thinks should not have a vote her in any referendum.

Wow, some amazing, and quite frankly scary opinions in this thread. Feels like I've stepped into a daily mail conference.

Note to self, avoid politics threads on here.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

He was still a dictator even if elected!
