Gregson has the closest skill set to Lockers in my mind

There are some players that when you see them for the first time, they stand out. George Williams and Oliver Gildart are the most recent examples. Although I wouldn't put Gregson quite up there, he did look very impressive when asked to cover a range of positions at a young age. He does seem to have the full range of skills and didn't look at all fazed when playing in the first team.
The point about loose-forward is not to shoehorn a player in there but to find one who plays there naturally. Then you have the basis of an offensive and defensive axis with the halves and others.

Gregson is more a loose forward that Sutton IMO.

Most people argue passing is not Macs greatest attribute yet you expect him to play LF and throw passes that are key to tries Meds?

I don't think MM's passing is a concern especially when he will have more time to pass from loose, so not an issue for me.

And he will probably top the tackle count while he's doing it

When meds? once or twice? It is very odd when you shift from hooker to being part of the attacking line. More often player shift the other way from back to hooker. Cam Smith could possibly adapt but I think he started as a half. Brad Dwyer was a half in the juniors. Not sure re the Wire hooker who cam from cas.
