I agree, too many penalties, but I thought we played much better overall today than we have for a while. I'd like to see our defensive line move up a bit more but that could have been due to the fact that i thought this quite late on, and it was very hot today. We are staring to use the dummy runner a lttle more now, and it helped Rad's score. Overall a good game that we could have walked away with if it wasn't for two errors, but they weren't at a cost in the end.
Very good support today, we showed the Red's fans up.

Just read on teletext that Karl Harrison is complaining about the referee, he thinks Sculthorpe should have been sent off and that Silverwood was favouring Wigan
The guys an idiot i saw the 1st half and the ref gave everyting to them, whilst not giving similar pens to us.
Youd have thought Karl would have neen happy for his little boy who now has a big future at the club. He is becoming a quality player.

And people were complaining about Betts professional and personal opinions getting mixed up.
He's pathetic at times Harrison, he did the exact same last year. I remember on the way home, him whinging about the referee and how they were the better side. Didn't however, hear him complaining about the Salford fans that were throwing objects at Wigan players on their way in. Funny how selective memory works.

Didn't watch it or record it because we're all supersticious but I'll be watching later on. I spent the whole day at work with a grumpy face on while my sister rang me and left voicemails of the Wigan fans singing.
Did we look more inspiring than we have the last few weeks?
I went home on me lunch break to watch the first half and then pretended i had the runs to check updates on the vodafone live. Working can be a pain especially when you agree to work on a BH when you made3 the balls up of thinking the games was yesterday.
Must admit went back to work thinking wed win as when we got in the 20 mte area we looked dangerous and that has not been the case for a long while now.
Ill watch the replay on SKY tonight and see how the performance was in the 2nd half. It still individual errors that is killing us at the moment and that in a way is a good thing as it can be workd on and if we gewt that right well make top 6.

Why did you agree to work BH! I would have cancelled but I've already got out of the last two. Good Friday I said I was on holiday (was at the Wigan Saints match), last one I went on holiday with my boyfriend and ended up working this one
Can't wait to watch the game, if I get drunk enough I can pretend that I don't know the score and then be shocked when we win...maybe?

Dallas, typical display capped by the type of try he should be scoring, he showed up Hodgson and his lack of pace and showed to me why we let him go, he hasnt got the pace for the wing and his ball skills are not good enough for the centre.
As far as I'm concerned you could say the same about Aspinwall. I think Hodgy was far more involved than Aspy today and if Dallas was running at Aspy instead of Hodgy the result would have been excatly the same.
How long has he got left on his contract? Surely he is one of the first to be offloaded next season.

Having just watched the video, it's confimed my initial impression of Silverwood...was he on a "get Tickle" mission? That first "lying on" one was nothing like as bad as the ones he let go all game, the "offside" one Danny never touched the ball, and at least 6 high shots were missed (3 on Dallas, as usual - why is it he cops so many that refs never see?). The Scully report; no case to answer - he never raised the elbow, the Salford guy ducked into it. And Hodgy had a foot in touch, as I thought, from that Moran penalty.

I was going to say exactly the same thing about Aspinwall as I said about Hodgson, but I wanted to keep my post as positive as possible, but since you brought it up i will say my piece.
He's had along enough now and hasnt improved enough, he had potential and time on his side when he first broke through, this is now his 4th season on and off and he isnt any better, he tries hard but thats it, thats all he offers, time to let him go in my oppinion, same could be said for Wilde though, and Kevin Brown needs to step up and show what he can do very soon, these 3 guys have had time, and patience shown in them, time to repay that patience with some quality performances.
