No, it's nothing at all to do with warriors. It was the theme from the film 1492 Conquest of Paradise, a very long story of Christophe Columbus (aka Gerard Depardeau)'s explorations of the New World. Ok, there's a little bit of fighting, but that's not really the point of the film.
im i right with the song though that we come out 4 the 2nd half :eh:
Mike, listen on Friday, we come out to I am a Warrior by Patty Smith in the second half. I think they play Conquest of Paradise just before that but the players come out to the other one.

We come out to both Conquest and Now we are free in the first half. There's also a new song that they play before it, used to be that Jock Jams one but I think that's gone now.

Oh my gawd Ron, I've been asking the same thing. When I was little(r) I used to think they sang "A crazyyyy game" in the full song. Judging by the laughs from my mum, they don't.
