Think his salary should be on a retainer basis at this rate!

We could have used his "marquee" salary for keeping George Williams if the rumours are true!
What are the rumours about George Williams? I get to know nothing here in Ireland.
There's a thread in the rumour section titled Williams to Wire.

I'll bet when shirt numbers are issued Williams has either 6 or 7, most likely 6.
Wire 6 & 7 will be Gidley (Ratchford) & Sandow and their marquee money on either of those two.
Williams to Wire, no chance!

Can I suggest that if this thread is going to continue with unjustified and unwarranted abuse of Sam (and Joel) then the thread be locked? We supporters are better than this and the players don't deserve it.

Why lock it?

Ive not seen a single unwarranted attack on him just hard opinions

Barely played..well that's true

Unneeded nonsense on twitter ..well thats certainly correct

People are entitled to an opinion on a very expensive player and whos return so far been very poor.

So i ask again why the need to lock it?

Thanks

Sam's injury was far worse than the club pretended originally

From those in the know, is this anything like the Karl Pryce foot injury? because that one dragged on for about 3 years we could ill afford that kind of lay off

Exactly, Bilko tells it as it is but ST gave him a poke on twitter. Bilko told it as most fans saw it after the Wigan game v Widnes but ST didn't seem to want to let it rest after the GF and brought the situation up.
Forgot the whole ins and outs but ST should have kept his gob shut.

OK - got it now. It's fine for us to be rude about players and make slighting comments but it's outrageous for a player to respond to comments made about him.
That all makes perfect sense. How about getting that nice Donald Trump in as a Forum mascot?
