No they aren't.
You're as negative as WNAC was
I try not to be. Negative or realistic take your pick, my glass is more than half empty.
Hock being "perenilly(?) injured",
As far as I know this is his second major, season finishing injury. He's a young guy so I see no reason not to call him injury prone.

No. i think they could be valuable squad players.
Tickle has been amazing for us this season
He has played well. But exactly who is he out shining in our team?Within a decent 6 he would (as before) be annonamous.
And forgive me if i'm wrong but werent tickle, hock and o'loughlin part of a half decent pack last season
Ye. As bench players mostly, with Locky at stand off half the time.

Tickle has been overshadowed everybody this season, don't say thats no achievement. I know you dont seem to be a fan of many of our younger players. But singling out a guy who at only 22 is leading our team and running his blood to water through the good times and bad, when there are other players on that pitch who should not be said in the same sentence as tickle, they arent fit to lace his boots.

I single no player out for criticism. The thread is "Reality Check" and with this in mind I am merely pointing out the dearth of talent at the club.

I apologise, it seems Hock hasn't played for GB. O'Laughlin has, however, so my point isn't totally invalidated. You can't be totally rubbish and picked to represent your country.

What about Stephen Wild?

I don't know what's happened to him this year, but he's been a consistent member of the Wigan team for a few seasons now and it's only this year people have been really questioning his ability. On current form he's got no chance for GB, but in previous seasons he's been pretty useful particularly in the utility role previously occupied by Johnson and Gilmore.

He isn't good enough for GB, and probably never will be. My point is being picked to play for GB doesn't just make you a good player, some of the selections Noble has made this time around are just a joke.

D'oh! Must be the stupidly warm air today affecting my eyesight. Apologies, and I think I'll agree that there are lots of better options for GB than Hock and Tickle. Tickle's really gone off the boil in the last few weeks - injured, not bothered (is Milly planning to get rid?) or is he just not as talented as we hoped?
