E-mailed the club and got this back,
Hi Tom
Thanks for your e-mail.
We can certainly push those messages leading into the last two games of
the season. Our artwork for press ads has already been signed off but
I'll certainly include references in our radio advertising, PR activity
(including messages on radio and in the papers) etc.
It is also worth noting the role fans can play in this. Sometimes the
club promoting these messages can lead to an impression of 'falseness'
so the more 'word of mouth' generated by fans the better. If you can
get fellow supporters to write letters to the local papers and trade
press, phone in GMR, Radio Lancashire, Radio Merseyside and Wish FM then
it strengthens the case and adds more heart to the campaign. Put
downloadable posters on your websites and get everybody to tell (and
bring along) all their friends.
Passive marketing can only do so much I'm afraid, and these types of
campaigns have failed many times because they have not had the 'hands
on' support they need to succeed.
If we can pull both the club resources and supporters passion together
then we have a great chance of creating a carnival atmosphere and
helping the boys into the playoffs!
I hope this is ok.
Regards

Nice email, well done!
Re: Craig Beck - can we not email Rock FM? I mean, the email Tom posted suggested we email Wish FM. Can't we do the same with Rock FM? I know they'll prob be doing a bit of a push for this game, being one of our sponsors.

e-mailed Craig Beck before, but the more of us who do, the more notice they're gonna take and we're more likely to be taken seriously. So everyone should get their contacts together and really get this plugged.

I have e-mailed Craig Beck at Rock FM too. Now i hope as many fans as possible who come in here will do the same. This is one of the ways to get a campaign up and running quickly.
I for one think it will be a big success if we can generate a lot of interest & get a full house with every one behind the Warriors.
Now come on lets DO IT and let everyone know & keep everyone on her einformed about what you have done.

I've emailed the Wigan papers to ask them if they would be able to do anything to help advertise it a bit or even help out maybe with posters or flyers.

Also emailed the official Wigan website and asked if there was any chance they'd give it a small mention on their site.
Edit:
Also emailed, bbc north west tonight, itv - granada, skysports, wigan council, wish fm, rock fm, wiganworld, manchester evening news and radio 5.
Edit of edit: Am busy girly, have now got in touch with Leeds and Saints too. Told Radio Leeds or whatevr its called and Radio Aire about the plan, see if they're up for a bit of fun too.
