So are people happy with the fact Lam wants to throw the saints game.
This is a nothing season with league table going off % and a challenge cup that cut out the lower league teams.
Id rather have bragging rights over saints than a trophy in a nothing season.
I'd rather have a twentieth challenge cup

20 in 2020 would have a very good ring to it.

Rogues Gallery posted on the other site, 20th challenge cup in the year 2020. That'll do for me.
Don't exactly agree that we should throw the Sts game but would hope for a repeat of that famous boxing day win.

If we played our "first" team, we would lose. Probably badly.
Put the kids in, let them play with no pressure, no expectation and at the very least they would get experience.
And, you never know, they might surprise Saints (and us!)

With our current lack of pack id agree however warrington showed that saints are not all that, they dont handle being on the back foot at all.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

On average, we've won the cup once every six years since it started.
Considering we first won it in 1924 (the 24th final by my reckoning, as it was suspended during WWI), that means we've won our 19 cups out of the last 90 finals, excluding WWII finals, which is better than 1 every 5 years from our first win.

Walmsley is key to Saints, stop him and the job is half done. Saints are an ageing team, it will be interesting to see what happens when games come thick and fast. If we are fortunate enough to make the final then, as things stand, we will have two weeks rest. First and foremost, we have a very difficult tie this week.
