Just pointing out that we had something very similar to what wire are doing, so when Williams signs we can't really get annoyed about how they got round the cap.

The difference being Radlinski was playing. Inglis is staying in a non-playing voluntary role (allegedly). Non playing staff do not count on the salary cap.
Not sure how the ruling works around deregistering a player mid-season though. I thought their full seasons salary was taken into account once they have played a game. I remember Hull KR deregistering Michael Dobson to bring in Willie Mason but he hadn’t played for them that season due to injury.
