Coyle is the only one that upsets me
The 18s are better than the 21s
And who gives a toss about you?
Got a right chip on the old shoulder CPW!!
How can you compare the U21's & U18's there are alot of them play both and in that case why didn't all the 18's play in the 21's final then?
Shown youself right up in this post dear.
Its sad to see any of them go.
What are u there mum or some silly lass who follows em around in fantasy land
Right, firstly theyll enjoy rugby careers which is something not to be sniffed at (getting paid to play something you love) Secondly, Wigan are aiming to play at the top of SL, only the very best will get a chance. Sorry dear but I watched far far better talents like Mike Forshaw, Scott Naylor and so forth hardly get a look in and play for the Alliance before moving on. It happens.
Honest critique
D. Allen - Useful offload, hits a gap nicely. Poor defender and a tad lazy. Hampered by injuries. Should have a long rugby career.
A. Ballard - Awesome attitude, good rugby brain, solid defender, excellent kicker. Lacks the pace or evasive skills to be a top SL winger. Should have a long rugby career
D. Speakman - Awesome attitude, trapped by a body that has reached maturity and thus lacks the size to make it at the very top of SL. Has some skills but not enough for top drawer SL. Should have a long rugby career.
S. Roper - Very chunky and small. Lacks that zip needed to break through at the highest level and is targetted in defence. Have a feeling he'd make a better hooker if he's to enjoy a long rugby career
M. Kenyon - Never been impressed, sorry. I think he's going to Batley
D. Williams - Awful, he gets lifted and smashed at U21 level. No real pace or evasion skills
B. Beswick - Talented, needs to play hooker, hence he needs to leave Wigan and will enjoy a long rugby career
G. Sykes - I liked this guy, runs a nice line when taking it up. Not top drawer SL quality but has it to enjoy a long rugby career
J. Coyle - Like the fella and think he played well in his limited opportunities in the first team. Question marks over speed (5 to 10 yard zip) and sometimes his tackling. Would love to keep him a little longer.
S. Bissell - Workmanlike
Sorry dear but Gleeson is a better centre than Williams as is the giant fella whose name escapes me. Props, I'd take Jewitt over those mentioned and Daryll Kay too, Hooker, Mike McClorrum is better, Second rowers, Kavanagh, Tomkins are better.
