If he really is going to be the one who eventually takes that 9 spot off Powell I don't see this as being the end. Powell is 29. When his contract runs out he will be 32. O Neill is 19 and when Powells contract runs out he will be 22. Absolutely perfect time to slowly move him in and phase Powell out imo.

It's interesting that those that dislike pointed out how better the team was with O'Neil yet our closest to a full 80 performance came with Powell back.

Well said. I'm sure the plan is to slowly integrate O Neill over the period and ease Powell out. In Peet we trust.
