I do think that Thompson has already signed for a club and it isn't Wigan.
We've re-signed Cooper and Mago which indicates to me the club know Thompson is signing for someone else.
The story from Matt Shaw is fair enough but he might well have phoned LT and he confirmed an offer was on the table from Wigan which he was giving considerable thought to. The fact is that it is well quoted LT has said he'd rather sign for the Roosters for less than Wigan's offer. That might well be the case.

Just been told tonight of a work colleague whos mates with Jonny Lomax, that Lomax said Thompson has signed a 4 year deal with Wigan and Sts aren't happy.
