Agreed, the ref is getting clear instructions for each one though so is it bad calls or bad rules.

If Watts is a red then Smith should also be red.

I thought Smith tackle was more a red then Watts.

What i dont understand is why thompson went off later as it was the first big hit on him that obviously shook him and give him his black eye

All referees are constantly talking, generally to the defence telling them to get back or letting teams know which tackle it is. Haven't noticed anything more

The sport getting sued by ex players has lead to this. Blame the players who were smacking the sh#t out of each other (like Fozzard) who suddenly apparently didn't realise it wasn't great for their health
