Absolutely but the head contact thing is not going away so I will be more worried next week if we pick up a ban for playoffs than anything else. Which is a ridiculous thing to have to bother about.

As to the game, it was fantastic to see the team come out of the blocks on fire from the start. None of the wake up in the second half nonsense. That performance will have scared the teams in the playoffs. I know Leeds are crap but that was the first team bar O”Neil (not sure Isa would get a game given Nsemba’s form)) and they played to their potential. Leeds had no answer.

As to Jake Wardle, how on earth did Hudds send him on loan to Wire and they not pick him up? He’s the best player in SL bar none for me. It’s hard to believe they both let him go and whoever brought him to Wigan deserves a medal.

We was red hot out the blocks tonight, didn't give them an inch, good contact and strong defence. I thought French,Marshall,wardle all top draw. Smith kicked them to death as well. Special mention to a player who I've complained about many a time....Bryne, thought his carries were excellent and he made plenty meters. A very good performance all round, onto the next one and let's secure that league leaders next week.

Wardle and Farnworth for starting centres for England, has to be.
First time in a long time I can say that we’ve probably got our best centre back pairing for England in a long time….

It’s funny before Wardle joined Wigan I really can’t say he was all that noticeable but boy what a player he is,best centre in the English game for my money.

Bring it on next week excellent game Thought French was outstanding my man of the match.All though All the lads played exceptionally well especially Wardle Smith and Marshall excellent 1 more to go for the Shield.I do wish it looked more like a proper Trophy more substantial.
