On the other hand, would I be annoyed if it was a team doing the same that could potentially disadvantage Wigan, I probably would be but it is up to the clubs to not be in a position where they have to rely on another club 'doing them a favour', so I say it's swings and roundabouts so let the clubs use the players how they see fit.
How would it look if in the first play off round if Salford were so jaded from not being able to rest players that it ended up a blow out score with whoever they played, much better to have an intense play off game for what is the pinnacle end of season shoot out
Salford don’t have a large squad, that’s why they’re giving some of their more experienced players a rest.

HKR, Warrington, Leeds & Saints have all done this previous to big games, so why is it that lowly, no disrespect, Salford, doing it can cause so much uproar?

They have a squad which is being utilised as the coach sees fit. Nothing wrong with what Salford are doing.

And although it’s being denied that HKR & Willie Peters have not brought this up with the RFL, their past behaviour regarding referees looking out for the golden child & complaining about players pretending to be injured, when their players have done the same & other things that could affect them makes the denial of it very much hard to believe IMO!
Because it will have an impact on who wins the league.

We would be saying the same if we were in the position of Warrington or St Helens.

From a Hull KR perspective they have right to be annoyed, because it almost removes any likelihood of them winning the league, but they do need to look at themselves and realise they wouldn't be in this position if they had won more games and had things into their own hands. Its annoying and unfortunate, but not Wigan's fault.
Likewise if it happened for the first game of the season then you looked back over the season, they could say if they had not done that for the first game

This is all a bit of journalistic clap-trap, TBF thats their job :D

Why not put the spotlight on Warrington resting against us before Wembley, their full squad could have turned us over and we'd be looking at HKR nailed on for the hubcap?

The games HKR and Wire did similar also affect who wins the league. They are all worth 2 points regardless of when those 2 points are gained or lost.

Salford vindicated!

They finished 4th, which they would have done regardless of their result against us. As it stands, they have a rested team for their match against Leigh. We'll find out on Friday if that's an advantage.

Good luck to them. But they'll have their hands full, Leigh will be at full strength apparently.
