Not on that performance tonight they won’t.

I never mentioned the sin binning as i missed it.I said their try wasnt obstruction and it wasnt. No bias ere palCaboosegg wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 11:17 pmRubbish, only reason saints got back in was because of the sin binning, it was never a yellow and if that hadn't happened leigh could have potentially nilled them.Firestarter wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 10:03 pm Saintsfirst try should have been given.Lam commited to the dummy runner so no obstruction.I agree they were done
But it's the game, two bad ref decisions had a big impact on the outcome.
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE

It could be Salford, saints or Leigh.widdenoldboy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 10:46 amMaybe, we play the lowest placed qualifier so it could be Saints if they beat Wire.
The only team we cannot play is Warrington .

I know people tend to regard Saints as the biggest threat, but truth to tell, they haven't looked great all season, and Wire have looked a much better side for most of the year. I reckon Wire will turn them over. And that Leigh will beat Salford. Should be a couple of decent contests next week.
On poor attendances for the qualifiers, I'm watching Roosters v Manly right now, and somehow play-off games in the NRL manages to attract 40-50,000 fans. I'm sure I remember remarking on that last year.

Heaven help any side (but especially us) who gets Liam Moore and his unique style of selective refereeing in the remaining matches. Bit of luck for the game that Ben Thaler was there to get it right (and I'm not sure I thought I'd ever say that).
