Vegas Match
Re: Vegas Match
Great punting, Josie! I'm so pleased. I think we put on quite a showcase of RL that the NRL sides will do well to match. But let's hope they do. I'm watching the start of the Raiders/Warriors game now, but I don't know how long I'll last!
But I can watch the rest tomorrow.

A very good win given they had to travel to play the game. I did not really know what to expect but we got the two points and scored so e nice tries so job done.

I am so proud of our town and our sport tonight.
Watched the game with family and we had so much fun, seeing that fantastic shirt in the blazing sun and in the stadium was awe inspiring. Seeing so many fans having fun - I'm sure Vegas has never seen such good humor and enthusiasm.
My lad works with many Americans and they have all been talking about the Vegas experience without him prompting them, other folk down south have been impressed by the ambition.
He is seeing so many social media "influencers" posting about the event and wearing the shirt, some of these folk have millions of followers - all free publicity.

I've thought the same, watching the footage, and also on SM; Wigan fans everywhere! We couldn't have given a much better example of our sport. Meanwhile, come on the Wahs!

We absolutely battered Wire. We could have put seventy on them tonight. Wigan are a big game team, we excel on days like this. Let’s not forget we are in round three and some of our combinations were sublime. It’s truly great to be a Wiganer and even better to be a supporter of this wonderful team. We will take some beating this season.

Couldn't agree more, Charriots! I thought the same. I watched it down the pub, and will look forward to rewatching the recording at home tomorrow.Charriots Offiah wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 2:14 am We absolutely battered Wire. Be interested to see what Burgess has to say.

Re: Vegas Match
Had a great day out and the result was satisfactory bar the easing off obviously. The ground and atmosphere was fantastic until our game ended lol.I didnt hear the mom but thought smith, nsemba and leeming were outstanding. Was chatting to a couple of wire fans on way back and they thought the score flattered them( rightly so). I told them they are way to one dimensional with williams trying to make every play and kick( definitely reminded me of when he played for us).Great player though but ive always thought he would make a better link fullback than a half
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE
Re: Vegas Match
Even at the end of the Raiders game, the Aussie commentators (not the Anglophile Vossy) were praising Wigan's performance.
