I thought the players head's went down after Hull scored first in the 2nd half.
Didn't understand why Keighran was at 6 when injured.
We lost that mentally as much as physically. Never looked like scoring 2nd half and the players looked like they thought they'd never score.
Hull were great 2nd half and they deserved the win.
Big re-think needed for next week's visit to Leeds.
Any team would be encouraged by our losing that one and Leeds certainly will be at home.

The team who wanted it most won
I agree
The players switched off after 30 min and it cost the game. Should have been done and dusted after an hour. Smith throwing the wild speculator which led to the second half try showed for me that they treated it as a walk over SL game.
Grand final that pass never gets attempted you would just build up pressure and try for a repeat set

Have you got your application for head coach ready with it all being so simple?
What a stupid post to make on a forum. Are we not allowed to criticise? We lost a lot of shape and organisation even before Ellis had to go off.
Havent you learned you arnt allowed opinions on this site.Yes matty got it wrong big time today ,which is very rare
Can't it be a genuine question? You after all without the same live knowledge on players conditions said it was a simple fix?
Much like everyone slated Byrnes form all knowing he was just bad but he had been carrying a injury all season.
No one stops anyone posting criticism, by the same line you can't have a paddy if someone thinks your post is bollocks.

It happens. We weren't going to win every trophy on offer again. Too many teams have improved for that to happen and the salary cap means the top team always finds it harder to find a higher level.
I thought our biggest issue was struggling to adapt to the losses. When Field went off we lost so much cohesion that it seemed to throw us off our game in all areas. We've got plenty of versatile players but I thought the answer would have been Leeming into the halves rather than Keighran so we didn't have to put Farrell at centre against such a pacy Hull left edge. He was never going to be quick enough to cover across when Eckersley was jumping out the line all night.

We’ll go on then, what’s bollocks about it rather than talking about applying for head coach?

Attitude lost the game. Peet needs to fix this, and it’s far more difficult than putting 70 on Leeds next time out.
Some serious conversations needed with some players

Definitely think there was an element of arrogance in our attitude tonight. Hopefully we learn that teams aren't just going to roll over because it's Wigan. I know we shuffled the team around a lot because of injuries but if we had just stuck to the basics we would have come out on top.

Bloody hell it sounds like 2006 again. I have no issue in losing a cc game sorry but for me i think that comp has had its day for me (sorry i know that comment will annoy some). Issue for me we saw it in Vegas and now in SL the team switches off when they think the game is done. And this was the senior players who should know better
