The officiating this season is the worst I’ve ever seen. Shocking. The commentators aren’t much better either.

Ridiculous reffing and video ref.
Agreed. The only person who could not see the ball went backwards from the French ball strip was the the video ref. Does he not think we can see the screen as well as he can?

My taking from the game
1. We got 2 points
2. Despite the score we where shocking
3. No team is fearing playing us based of that.
4. If we'd played to have put 70-80 past Salford
5. There seems to be a anti Wigan Bias from the refs

Can’t disagree with that. As to point 2 a big reason we were shocking is 13 errors and five penalties conceded. Salford 3 & 2 respectively I think.
The positives for me were Field didn’t. pull a hamstring, Eckersley and Douglas who did well along with Mago looking match fit again. Other than that it was very sloppy and as a result they failed to completely control a game they should have dominated. Play like that v HKR and we will be in for a hiding.

Should be proud of themselves the Salford lads.
The bookies gave them a 65 point start and apart from a couple of reffing decisions and too many errors from us, we could have really put them to the sword. They kept at it though and for me, that's what RL is all about.
I've a bit of a soft spot for Salford, with fond memories of the Willows club. Hope this consortium thing works out for them

This was the chris kendall show. His aim was to keep the score down and i reckon he succeeded with a 24-30 point success. We did what we had to do and thats that.We only artacked down the left flank which tells me we have no confidence in the young lads on the right( which was strange).Nsemba easily mom and why why why why dont we coach mago to run onto the ball??? He would be unstoppable o

Kendall is, always has been, and always will be ' you've come to watch me.' Surely the game today was a prime example of this.

A bit sketchy, especially in the first half, but PD given a boost, a clean sheet, and (I assume) no injuries: onwards and upwards.

Salford where abject perhaps one of the worst performances I’ve seen in many a year but you can only beat who are in front of you in that respect job done by Wigan

I do agree with the point made about the young lads on the right, although that's also not helped with Farrell as well. Still not convinced on Eckersley although he's had some good moments. Douglas looks a little lightweight too.
My main takeaway from the game was we were sloppy but we didn't get anything off Kendal who kept Salford in the game
