Why?
Because he is a darn sight better 13 than stand off. In fact I'd go as far as saying as a stand off he is rubbish.

You only have to look how poor he was in his first season in the first team when he played at stand off quite a bit. People were questioning his worth to the side and asking where he could possibly get a game etc.

He is however, the best 13 at the club so to weaken the loose forward position to provide us with yet another poor stand off isn't a good idea.

Like it or not Moran and Orr are our half backs and we gain nothing by chopping and changing every week. They never will get an understanding and get into the groove if we keep playing players out of position.

As the season goes on and if Orr plays rubbish then he needs to be replaced with another stand off not a loose forward pretending to be one.

Daily express has said today, same team as last week with either Danny Orr or Kevin Brown as the 18th man.

How can it be the same as last week if either of those two are the 18th man? They were both in the 17.

Sorry to disagree Pie Eaters but when you use words like "awesome", "brilliant" and "Orr" positively in the same sentence I have to question you.

The use of superlatives like this should be toned down a bit IMO. If any stand off in the country plays "awesomely" or "brilliantly" they would be in consideration for the GB squad and no matter how well Orr ever plays for us in the future or has ever played for us in the past there must be about 10 candidates in front of him.

All I hope for from him is an adequate performance because TBH I don't think him capable of much more, cerntainly not on a weekly basis.

Does this confirm my suspicion that Feca injured himself during his dry dive on Saturday night? :(

Shouldn't think so, or he wouldn't be in the squad at all. Normal prop rotation, I'd say.
