Is there anyway of reporting them to the club?

You would know there seat numbers by you knowing yours

At least they could be monitored over the next games before ejecting / banning them

something needs done about it before it gets out of hand and causes trouble between people sitting around them

it's not only wigan fans last season when we played saints at the JJB a so called st helens fan in the east stand was swearing and abusive to the wigan fans he was sat in front of my daughter so i asked him not to swear but i got told to **** off and welcome to rugby league and a steward was stood there only four steps away and never did anything which i believe should of been dealt with.
but this isn't a rugby league problem this is a society problem the goverment nice plans of reinforcing the yobo culture, the way to deal with it is like you deal with a weed is to destroy the root of it and just not cut of the head so if you just move away from the problem it does not solve the problem these problems need to be reported and then wigan hopefully will take action and just not think of it as a loss of revenue.

like i said before willie i understand what you are saying but theres not much anyone can do than move.
Why? The stadium is quite happy to take the money they therefore should carry some responsibility for what goes on in the stadium. I was in the south stand on Friday and I am glad I wasn't anywhere near this crowd. What happened to kick racism out of rugby? What happened to the Respect campaign? And by telling people to move is just condoning thier behaviour. The stewards should eject these "people" and if necessary ban them for good. The majority of people pay hard earned cash to watch our team and should not be subjected to that sort of abuse and language. I would say put it in the hands of the stadium bosses. Kick it out before it gets worse.

Sorry rant over it is one of my pet hates! :)

Like stopping people getting onto the pitch......

Or maybe they're too busy looking out for people having a crafty smoke.......

There's an "interesting"(?) threat on RLFans about this, some people saying he should have had a good kicking out-of-sight from the stewards, others saying he should have been taken to the cells, other people claiming that you can't detain someone when making a citizen's arrest (cue a discussion about what detention means) etc. Last I looked it had descended into the usual exchange of insults between fans of different clubs, not worth contributing to.

Since he's committed a criminal offence by invading the pitch, I would hope he was arrested and should at least be banned from all games for the rest of this year. Much as people criticise the referees on here and elsewhere, you can't just take things into your own hands like that. If idiots like that start putting people off being referees, then where does that leave the game in future? Thankfully such morons are rare.
